Today I’m showing a few properties in Caya Costa. It is a gated community of about 230 homes in the northeast part of St Petersburg. Developed in mid 1980’s it is located across the channel from the main Riviera Bay community. Many homes in Caya Costa are waterfronts with access to either a narrow channel that leads to Riviera Bay or a small inlet that will also lead you to the bay. A few homes are sitting on the interior lake with no access to the big water.
Caya Costa is a friendly neighborhood and you will see residents walking their pets and jogging along many sidewalks. There’s a community pool, tennis courts and also a private boat launch ramp and storage. Home owners pay HOA fees to the Caya Costa association, which takes care of your yard, neighborhood, facilities and guard gate.
In the past 12 months the sales prices in Caya Costa ranged between $300k and $900k. However there are homes currently not on the market nor that were sold in the last 12 months that are worth more than that. Villas were selling in the range of $130-170k.
