I know, I know, I know, the real estate values are continuing to decrease. We expect an average home value to drop by around 7-8% this year. But it is better than 15-20% we used to lose annually during 2007-2009. By today our home values dropped by around 50%. That applies to most homes in St Petersburg and all Tampa Bay area. While recovery may not seem to be in sight the good news is that so many people are able to afford buying a home again!
